Kayaking & canoeing on Grand Rapids area lakes & rivers is a great way to experience the Fall season in West Michigan. Crisp Fall days are absolutely amazing. Our paddling season runs until October 31st and while kayaking and canoeing is fantastic on a warm Summer day, it just keeps getting better in the cooler Fall weather as the colors explode on the trees. We’ll provide the hot chocolate, tea, and coffee to warm your bones on chilly days. Why not book your Fall 2014 paddling trip today?
The July issue of Grand Rapids Magazine had a list of 50 ultimate bucket list things to do in the Grand Rapids area and we are extremely pleased that “Paddling on a river” with GR Paddling is first on the list!

GR Paddling offers customized, safe, and full service kayak & canoe trips on twenty-one segments on our five local rivers and on five local lakes. Whether you are looking for a team building opportunity or social event, a beginner looking for a short safe escape or an experienced paddler looking for a full day outing (ie: our new this year Paddle & Art option for larger groups up to 16 paddlers or one of our four Paddle & Dine trips), we have the trip for you that promises to help you enjoy the best of what West Michigan has to offer.
We are located right here in Grand Rapids so we know the area and the very waters on which you will be paddling. We provide all of the essentials for you: boats, paddles, life preservers, transportation, snacks, mosquito repellant, instruction (if required) and binoculars (if desired). We also provide round trip & comfortable transportation, both pick-up and drop-off from your Grand Rapids area location to and from the river or lake! We pick you up. How cool is that? All you gotta do is paddle and enjoy the experience.
